“While it may seem small, the ripple effects of small things are extraordinary.”– keeping this ideology in mind we came up with this workshop.
The mission of the workshop is to design a satellite proportionate enough to fit inside a small can. The sensors outside the jar are to gather the environmental data and store it in the micro-controller device inside.
“Sky is the limit” keeping in mind this motto of ours we introduced this workshop. The participants will be fabricating a Radio-Controlled aircraft controlled remotely by hand-held transmitter and including a receiver within the craft by using light weighted straw sheet provided.
“Droning On!” was our idea when we thought of this workshop, participants will be fabricating a Radio-Controlled drone which can be accessed remotely by hand-held transmitter.
The participants will be required to install a receiver embedded with the flight-controller in the machine that they built using the material provided.
“The nitrogen in our DNA, the calcium in our teeth, the iron in our blood, the carbon in our apple pies were made in the interiors of collapsing stars. We are made of stardust.” ― Carl Sagan, Cosmos
In this workshop participants will be studying about planets stars and other space elements. Participants will get chance to fabricate their own telescopes using provided kits and sky watching (If weather permits)
Three, two, one…blast off!
India is already making strides in the field of rocket science, and we must shoulder the responsibility of preparing younger generations to make even higher advancements in the field. This workshop will teach participants everything they need to know about rockets, from their founding, to their construction and launch.
While humans have walked on the Moon, scientific knowledge of the conditions on planets such as Mars, Venus, Titan, and Jupiter is almost entirely based on robot exploration. Humans are able to obtain significantly more data about conditions in space as technology allows robots to reach space faster. Participants will see a prototype Mars Rover and learn the fundamentals of its operation as well as its significance to global learning in this workshop.
